Titanium & Titanium Alloys
The workhorse of aerospace additive manufacturing. Plasma-atomized (PA) and gas-atomized (GA) titanium powder for LPBF, EBM, DED, and binder-jet builds. Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) and Grade 23 (ELI) held in program stock. Beta and near-alpha alloys (Ti-6242, Ti-6246, Ti-5553) available on program qualification.

Titanium's strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility make it the default alloy for airframe structural components, jet-engine compressor sections, spacecraft primary structure, and orthopedic implants. Additive manufacturing compounds that value: near-net-shape lattice geometries reduce buy-to-fly ratios from ~15:1 (billet) to under 3:1 (LPBF), and internal channels enable heat exchangers and fluid-conducting brackets that cannot be forged or cast.
The powder-metallurgy titanium supply chain is tight. Plasma atomization capacity is concentrated in North America; hearth-melt and VAR ingot supply is concentrated in the U.S., Japan, and Kazakhstan. We hold qualified stock from U.S. and allied atomizers, with second-source qualification available on MPS-2 and MPS-3 program tiers.
