Phase Framework

MPS-2 is recurring production supply. Blanket purchase agreements, rolling 12-month forecasts, monthly delivery cadence, and — where appropriate — vendor-managed inventory at your dock. This is where the bulk of program spend lives.

PHASE 1 · MONTH 0
Blanket PO Award
Blanket PO signed against MPS-1 qualification spec. Volume commitments, lead-time SLAs, and pricing tiers finalized. Alternate-atomizer secondary sources identified.
PHASE 2 · MONTH 1
Production Kickoff
First production lot shipped against blanket PO. Cadence lock — typical monthly or quarterly delivery cycle. Buyer quality inspects incoming, MPS retains lot samples.
PHASE 3 · MONTH 2–12
Recurring Supply
Monthly forecast rolls forward. VMI option triggered where volume justifies. Quarterly business reviews with buyer engineering, quality, and program management.
PHASE 4 · ONGOING
Continuous Improvement
Yield, PSD drift, and lot-to-lot variance monitored across the program. Cost-down initiatives — alternate atomization route, alternate mill source, PSD-blend optimization — proposed to buyer.

DELIVERABLE 02
Rolling Forecast
Quarterly forecast updates with 6-month firm, 12-month indicative. Enables atomizer capacity reservation and mill scheduling.
DELIVERABLE 03
Vendor-Managed Inventory
Optional VMI at buyer dock, at MPS warehouse, or at a third-party 3PL. Consignment inventory available on qualified programs.
DELIVERABLE 04
Quarterly Business Review
On-site or remote QBR covering supply performance, quality metrics, cost-down opportunities, and forward volume outlook.
