Every lot Metal Powder Supply ships is qualified against the customer-specified AMS, ASTM, MIL, or OEM spec, and shipped with a full analytical package covering chemistry, particle size distribution, morphology, flow, apparent and tap density, and moisture. Nothing is optional.

A lot leaves our dock only after the full analytical package is complete and cross-checked against the buyer's locked spec.

Full trace and matrix chemistry by inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Interstitials (O, N, H, C) by LECO combustion analysis. Chemistry certificate keyed to AMS or ASTM spec.

Static Laser Diffraction
Particle size distribution by static laser diffraction with Mie theory. D10 / D50 / D90 reported. Buyer-specified band verified against the qualification lot fingerprint.

Dynamic Image Analysis + SEM
Sphericity, aspect ratio, and satellite content by dynamic image analysis. SEM lot retention sample archived on all qualified programs.

Hall flowmeter (ASTM B213) on fine powders, Carney cup (ASTM B964) on coarser cuts. Flow rate reported and compared against qualification-lot baseline.

LOT RETENTION
100 % of qualified-program lots retained in MPS QA sample library for a minimum of 10 years. Longer retention available on programs of record.
PMI VERIFICATION
Positive Material Identification (handheld XRF) available on request for large-diameter ingot and bar stock at receipt.
